While we've had different professional journeys, we both spent many years in the secondary English classroom, and that is where we honed our knowledge of middle grade and young adult literature and heightened our passion about the importance of getting these books into kids' hands. We believe in authentic integration of approachable, current, impactful texts that represent a wide array of different ways to be. Although we focus on book lovers with our podcast, we rely on our teaching background, and our hearts remain in the classroom.
